Jenks Riverwalk businesses Suite Shots Jenks and District Burger received highest honors at the 2025 Jenks Chamber awards banquet, hosted at River Spirit Casino Resort on March 26.
Suite Shots Jenks received New Business of the Year, awarded to a newly established business, typically operating for less than one to three years, that demonstrates exceptional growth, innovation, community engagement and a positive economic impact.
Suite Shots Jenks opened its doors to the community on April 17, 2025 and will celebrate its one-year anniversary in a few weeks. Guests are invited to enjoy a full weekend of golf and food specials, live music concerts and the 2nd Annual Riverwalk Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show.
District Burger received Restaurant of the Year, awarded to an establishment that has shown notable growth and consistently delivers exceptional products and service. The award also recognizes businesses that have made a meaningful impact on the local economy and community over the past year.
District Burger opened its Jenks location at the Riverwalk on May 5, 2025. District Burger offers exceptional, locally sourced burgers, sides and shakes.
Additionally, Riverwalk staff were nominated for awards.
Teresa Street, General Manager of the Jenks Riverwalk, was nominated for Woman of the Year. The award honors a woman who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and made a meaningful impact on the Jenks community over the past year.
Lane Castleberry, Director of Marketing and Special Projects for the Jenks Riverwalk, was nominated for Young Professional of the Year. The award is given to an individual under the age of 40 that has made significant contributions to their company and the community at large in the previous year.
