Jenks Riverwalk is pleased to announce the addition of School of Rock as its latest tenant. School of Rock is the largest music school franchise in the United States with a mission to provide performance-based music education through the lens of modern music.
The Jenks location is expected to open at the Riverwalk this Fall.
Originally launched as a single location in Philadelphia in the late ‘90s, School of Rock quickly became a trailblazer in education with our performance-based model of music instruction.
School of Rock helps aspiring musicians master skills, unleash creativity and develop tools they need to thrive in life with a patented, performance-based curriculum.
School of Rock is a safe place for kids to learn, develop friendships with other kids who are into music, and carve out a niche for themselves in a world where they might never have felt a sense of belonging before.
Their programming offers options for all ages, including an adult program for students over 18 who are looking to improve their musical proficiency, or pick up an instrument with no prior musical experience.
Shawn and Marie McBlain, franchisees of the Jenks location, said their family is excited to open their doors and to begin empowering students to rock with musical skills.
